PanIIT is an umbrella organization to provide a strong sense of kinship among alumni of all seven IITs and to present a common image. The PanIIT Board was formed in 2002.  We are proud alumni of the IIT system, whose contribution to technology and business leadership has received worldwide recognition. We are strongly motivated to ‘give back’ to India and to the IITs. 

The past and upcoming Conferences are:

PanIIT 2004 - IITians: Empowering India – with a focus on Nation Building was held on 24th and 25th December 2004 in New Delhi. Attendees included President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Some of the initiatives that resulted from this event are the PanIIT Future of Computing Initiative (PiFOCI), Pan-IIT Foundation for Rural Transformation (PiFort), and a seminar ‘Opportunities for India in the Knowledge Economy.’  You can get more information about these initiatives at PiFOCI and PiFORT.

IIT 2005 - Beyond iiTechnology - Global IIT Alumni Conference held from 20th to 22nd May 2005 in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, with the conference theme ‘Technology without Borders.’ For more details about this event visit the web site.  Two major initiatives of the conference are the IIT Alumni Resource Center and Pi Tech.

PanIIT 2006 was held in Mumbai, India from December 23-25, 2006. The mission of this event is to encourage IITians to Inspire to Involve and Transform (IIT).
